Getaway to St. George

St. George is our favorite getaway from SLC.
It is always warmer, and I OFTEN need warmth.
We met up with some family and friends
and enjoyed the sun!
There is a new corn dog joint
that is very tasty!
(You can take Richard's word for it...
They didn't make them gluten free.)

We all went to church together and I loved
being able to walk in the nice weather!

In celebration of the Olympics,
I may have packed red, white, and blue
for our church clothes...
GO USA!!

We also climbed the St. George "crack".
I love climbing and hiking, so it was a perfect activity.
It is so skinny that it made some of our party nervous!
Patrick had plenty of room to move around, of course!

I love looking over St. George and seeing the
beautiful temple amidst the city.

Among our favorite activities in St. George is
Rummikub, Nertz and Yahtzee.
Since only old people live in St. George,
(sarcasm)
This is our opportunity to act like old people
and play games all afternoon.

Needless to say, it was a trip that was much needed.
I love that Richard is always up for a quick, last minute getaway.
